Winter Boochcraft Cocktails
The holiday season is almost over but we’re keepin’ things festive! These Boochcraft cocktails are perfect to enjoy all winter long. We’ll drink to that!
Hanukkah
Inspired by the latkes and apple sauce enjoyed around the Hanukkah season. Paired perfectly with our Apple Lime Jasmine Booch, it’s crisp and refreshing. L’Chaim!
1 1/2 oz Vodka
1/2 oz Apple sauce
1/4 oz Lime juice
1/4 oz Pineapple juice
Freshly grated cinnamon – from a cinnamon stick
Shake all ingredients together, double strain over fresh ice and top with 3 oz Apple Lime Jasmine Boochcraft. Garnish with a bundle of sage leaves
Festivus
Sophisticated scotch, bitter vermouth, bright sweet Booch & tart cherry juice- think grumpy old man meets cherry festive fun. It’s a Festivus for the rest of us & we’ll drink to that! (Play on the classic ‘Blood & Sand’ cocktail).
1 1/4 oz Scotch
3/4 oz Cherry juice
1/2 oz Sweet vermouth
Shake all ingredients together, strain over fresh ice and top with 3 oz Orange Pomegranate Beet Boochcraft. Garnish with 3 cherries on a bamboo pick.
Christmas
Light with strong rosemary notes that make this a perfect all-day sipper for Christmas Day & into the night.
1 1/2 oz Gin
1/2 oz Rosemary maple syrup (recipe below)
1/4 oz Lemon juice
Shake & strain over fresh ice and top with 3 oz Grapefruit Hibiscus Heather Boochcraft. Garnish with a rosemary sprig & grapefruit slice
Rosemary Maple Syrup
1 Bottle organic maple syrup
3 Large rosemary stalks
Put everything in a saucepan and cook over low heat for about 8 minutes. As you cook continue stirring and crushing rosemary needles w your spoon and bring out the herb essence. Let cool and double strain out rosemary. Voila!
New Year’s Eve
NYE is a party & so is this drink! Sweet on the front with a heat that sneaks right up on ya.
1 1/2 oz Tequila
3 dashes Scrappy’s Firewater bitters
1/4 oz Agave
1/2 oz Pineapple juice
1/4 oz Lime juice
Shake and strain over ice and top with 3 oz Turmeric Tangerine Ginger Boochcraft. Garnish with 2 pineapple leaves and a tangerine slice.
